Who we are

aiQ Radar is operated by aiQ Software (Pty) Ltd. For any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your data, contact support@aiq-markets.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password itself.

Subscription: your plan, its period, and the identifier your payment provider gives us. We do not receive or store your card details.

Device: when you enable notifications, a push token identifying your app installation, plus a short device label so you can recognise your own sessions.

Preferences: your notification categories, alert threshold, quiet hours, sound choice and time zone.

Technical: standard server logs, including IP address.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or the contents of your device.

We do not ask for, receive or store exchange API keys or trading credentials from subscribers, and the mobile app cannot access any trading account of yours.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

Why we process it

To authenticate you and keep your session secure; to deliver the notifications you asked for; to provide and bill your subscription; and to keep the service secure and working.

Our lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in securing the service.

Who else is involved

Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) delivers push notifications. Google Play processes purchases made through the Play Store and tells us only whether a purchase is valid.

Our servers are operated on our behalf by our hosting provider. Market data and news are retrieved from third-party sources by our servers, not by your device.

How long we keep it

Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists and for as long as we are required to retain them afterwards.

Push tokens are deleted when you disable notifications, sign out, or the token stops working. Sessions expire automatically and can be revoked at any time.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of it, or its deletion, by contacting support@aiq-markets.com.

Under South Africa's POPIA, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may also object to processing and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

This service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
